Coming to Chicago this summer?

The GAN Conferencing office is located about half an hour outside of Chicago. Chicago has a wide range of things to do during the summer so that you can enjoy the few months of beautiful weather that we get per year. Here are five must see places to visit in Chicago if you are here on business or for fun.

Millennium Park: Millennium Park is a great place to spend a day and relax. It is home to one of the largest gardens in the city and an outdoor concert hall. Not to mention it is the home of one of the most famous sculptures in the world, the Cloud Gate a.k.a. the bean.

The Sky Deck of the Willis Tower: I would not recommend this one if you are afraid of heights like I am but I have heard that the view is amazing. The Sky Deck is near the top floor of the Willis Tower, which is the tallest building in the United States. You can purchase tickets to walk out onto the deck which is a box with a glass floor and glass walls so that you can get a breathtaking view of the city that can also satisfy any adrenaline junkie.

Navy Pier: Navy Pier is one of Chicago’s main attractions because of the wide variety of things to do there. The have everything from an IMAX theater to the Chicago Children’s museum to their biggest attraction the Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel gives you a great view of the lake and the city and is a must see attraction at night.

The Magnificent Mile: The magnificent mile is a section of Michigan Avenue that contains many great shopping destinations. There are also many landmark buildings that run along the street such as the John Hancock Center, The Trump International Hotel, and the Chicago Water Tower.

Wrigley Field: No trip to Chicago is complete for a baseball fan without a trip to Wrigley Field. Once the ivy is in full bloom over the summer the park is one of the most beautiful that the MLB has to offer and the bleachers provide an environment unlike anything else in sports.

We hope you get a chance to visit Chicago at some point this summer and if you have extra time after checking out these places you should come pay us a visit.
