Keep the Halloween Weekend Safe the days after

Hoping everyone has had a fun and safe Halloween, I just wanted to add a few extra words of caution and tips for the days after. Too many people prepare for the events of the evening without thinking of the days after.

Parents, check the kids Candy before letting them go hogwild into it. There is not likely going to be anything wrong in the candy, but getting old candy is a problem as people use Halloween sometimes to get rid of the old stuff the y might have forgot about in the house.

Ration out the amount the kids will get, and store the bag somewhere smart. Make sure you keep it cool and dry so it will last as long as possible.

One more thing. This was a biggie in my house one year. Make sure the kids don't leave the candy in a place where the family pets can get into it. My dog got his head in my sons candy bag one year and nobody was happy then. My son for losing his candy, and my dog because chocolate can make them sick. Luckily he was OK, but keep and eye on where the candy is stored.

QuickVisuals Update Feature - Full Screen Presentations

It's quite a difference. Your attendees will notice it too. One of the features that I have been asked about when showing QuickVisuals is the ability to make your presentations show full screen to attendees. We were always able to go full screen in the viewing area of the attendees, but it was in the viewing area only. Since QuickVisuals runs in a web browser, there were the usual web browser toolbars and buttons along the top that the presenter could do nothing about.

That is now a problem of the past. The newest release of QuickVisuals now has an icon on the toolbar to go Full Screen in the attendees computer. This gives your presentation the ability to really stand out to your attendees. Launch of the new GAN Conferencing website

I know I have been teasing all of you about the new features that we are implementing into our popular QuickVisuals WebConferencing platform, but there has been a new rebirth in the company. The all new http://www.ganconference.com is now live.

The GAN Conference website was a functional place and provided information to our clients and those looking to learn about streamlining their business communication, but it was a bit dated. It was time for an upgrade, so we put our resources together and pulled some late nights to get it done.

Through the guide of our CEO's vision to bring the website to the modern design style, a lot of new content has been written, and re-written to be more insightful into the offerings here at GAN Conferencing. Our graphics department put on the fresh gloss of paint, and a shiny new logo, and here we are.

Take care of your audience with QuickVisuals

This weekend I went and took my daughter down to a yet another University tour. Luckily there were no major events that occurred like last time. She loved this University by the way, and I did as well. I'm pretty sure this is where she will spend the next four years after graduation.

I just finished watching the Presidential debate with Senators Barack Obama and John McCain. This one was in a Town Hall style. It is an interesting choice for a debate that usually would be held much more formally with the Presidential candidates standing behind podiums.
